We used to shop here regularly, but it takes quite a bit to get a gift certificate unless you are willing to regularly overpay for items. Only shopping their sales will just not cut it, especially when other stores in the area, like Times or Safeway, have deals that beat them. Ultimately their reward program didn't make any sense to us.
I really have tried to not get on here and leave a bad review, but I just can’t have a good experience at this Foodland no matter how hard I try. The only thing I do here every week is go in and get some of Hawaii’s best Poke, but the customer service at this facility is absolutely terrible. Every time I have ever shopped here week after week I have consistently encountered rude service from the people working behind the seafood counter, and the people up at the registers. I love Foodland, but this particular Foodland is one of the only ones on the island I just feel like the people don’t want you to shop here.
They do have some of the cutest reusable shopping bags for sale here. Make sure to check their sale turkeys during Thanksgiving and Easter.
I love Foodland Mililain it's the only store I shop at I buy my fish and poi and tako poke. I Love the staff there nice and friendly and they help you out that's aloha. We are moving to Tacoma Washington July 31. So we have one more month to go. We will miss Foodland.

Amazing hot food (chicken and fried stuff), awesome selection of Poke! 10 types! Not very busy and very friendly staff. Prices were good and wide selection of food.
Recommend only for sales, not for regular purchasing.
The staff is so helpful. They always offer to take by bags to the car which helps me out a lot as I am pregnant and can't lift heavy things.
Sometimes has a great selection of sale items. Other times, you're paying excessively high prices. I don't think $12 for a jar of peanut butter makes any sense, regardless of it being a Hawaii store.
There is a Redbox kiosk inside the store that usually has pretty good selections.
